From the Commissioner:
Congratulations to Jim Tackitt for winning this week. There were a few of you lucky players out there that picked 9 games correctly, but Jim was the closest on the combined score. Just a warning you don't want to start letting this guy win he is our defending champion from last year.
Well I hope everyone enjoyed the week off from the frustration of watching the Colts play. But I have faith that they got everything figured out this week and are going to put up huge numbers against the Texans. This is a divisional game so we need to win.
If anyone tries to find their score from the previous week and cannot find it feel free to contact me. Sometimes even the commishoner makes a mistake, just not very often.
Important Contest Info:
1) Make sure to put the combined game score on your sheets that is what
is used for the tie breakers.
2) Winners of Weeks 2 and 10 will win tickets to the following weeks Colts Game.
So the winner of week 2 will win tickets to the Jacksonville game and the winner of week 10 will win tickets to the
Houston Game. There are weekly prizes each week however weeks 2 and 10 are the jackpot weeks.
3)The contest will
officially end for accumulated scores after week 15 which is 12/15/08. Who ever is
leading the total score at that point will win tickets to the last home Colts game against Tennessee.
How to submit your picks: Your picks can be submitted one of two ways, you can either submit them online or fax them into me. All of the weeks will be available online so if you will be on vacation you can fill them out before you leave if you choose to.
How it is scored: One point is awarded for each correct game. In addition to picking the winner of each game, you will be guessing the total combined score of the Colts game each week. This combined score will be used as a tie breaker. The person with the highest number of correct picks wins the weekly prize. We also keep track of accumulated score over the whole season.
